About the practice
Employment consultation rooted in Bau and Handwerk hiring — documents, interviews, and search plans from a Nürnberg desk.
Registered name & history
The official registered business name is Opti Tech Employment Advice Laura Schmitt. The practice was established in 2018 in Nürnberg after Laura Schmitt spent years helping friends and colleagues decode German construction job adverts — especially when certificates crossed borders or when CVs written for office roles failed on site hiring desks.
Early work focused on rewriting Lebensläufe for electricians and masons in Middle Franconia. Demand grew for interview practice before Bauhof visits and for clear wording around foreign trade papers. Today the practice remains deliberately small: advisory sessions, written notes, and follow-ups — never a placement agency.
Approach
We stay close to the materials employers actually request: trade titles, safety cards, project descriptions, and calm Anschreiben that mention real site work. Sessions are concrete. You leave with edits and next steps, not motivational slogans.
Values
- Accuracy over inflated titles
- Respect for craft time — short, prepared meetings
- Honest limits: we advise applicants; employers decide
- Clear fees before work begins
